Should We Glorify Hitler?
Nazi means “National Socialist German Workers’ Party.” Hitler and his band of socialists killed 20 million people.
Lenin, Stalin, and the other leaders of the Unitied Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) killed 62 million people.
Mao Zedong (Mao Tse-tung) and his socialist successors killed 76 million people.
While Hitler’s swastika is deemed repulsive, the Soviet flag with hammer and sickle is acceptable. Also acceptable is hero-worship of Mao Tse-tung, as Obama’s communications director, Anita Dunn, demonstrated by publicly admitting this in a commencement address to St. Andrews Episcopal High School in June, 2009. How could anyone call Mao Tse-tung a hero?? (… and how could someone hire such a mentally-unwell person?)
This is a mystery to me. Why condemn one monster and extol the others? Why extol any monster?
